VTLM900 Remote-Controlled Slope Mower — A Further Upgrade for Steep-Slope Operation

The VTLM900 prototype is nearly complete and will soon enter testing. Developed from the proven VTLM800 platform, the VTLM900 focuses on further improving stability, power, and adaptability for demanding steep-slope mowing.

The VTLM800 has already demonstrated excellent performance in remote-controlled slope mowing, particularly on steep terrain. The VTLM900 retains its proven servo motors, servo controller, and worm gear reducers, providing strong traction and helping prevent the machine from sliding on slopes.

Key Upgrades

1. Upgraded 608cc Engine
The VTLM900 is equipped with a 608cc engine, upgraded from the 452cc engine used on the VTLM800.

The engine features a full-pressure lubrication system, which continuously delivers pressurized oil to critical internal components. This provides reliable lubrication and better engine protection during demanding operation on steep slopes, uneven terrain, and side slopes.

2. Independent Starting Battery
An independent starting battery is added to provide a dedicated power source for engine starting, improving starting reliability and making the electrical system more practical.

3. Extended Track with an Additional Track Support Roller
The rubber track has been extended, with one additional track support roller added to the track undercarriage.

The longer track and additional support roller increase the effective ground-contact length of the undercarriage, improving traction, stability, and weight distribution during uphill operation. This helps reduce the tendency of the rear of the machine to lift when climbing steep slopes, allowing the VTLM900 to maintain better contact with the ground.

4. Vertical Cutting Deck Lift
The VTLM900 adopts a vertical cutting deck lifting system. The redesigned lifting structure improves the stability of the cutting deck and helps address customer concerns regarding cutting deck vibration.

The VTLM900 is a further evolution of the VTLM800, combining proven drivetrain technology with targeted upgrades based on practical use and customer feedback.
